On January 24, 2007 my daughter gave birth to twin girls! It was such an exciting time. Fortunately for me I was able to be at their birth and to be with my daughter on this extraordinary day!

From the beginning my daughter “color coordinated” their clothing and accessories! In part to not mix them up, but mostly to help them develop as two individuals! (my daughter is really clever!)

I used a tissue paper technique for the frames and then adhered them to the wood using a collage medium and a fixative spray for durability.

As you can see by the photo frames, pink, and purple are the colors she went with. Because of this I have always done something for their special day that reflects this even though the girls themselves have kind of moved on from that! After all they are teenagers now!

For the frames and the birthday cards I used the Altenew Amazing You Stamp and Die set as well as the Faceted Stars Stamp Set for the backgrounds.

All the embossing was done with Obsidian Black Pigment ink, and clear embossing powder.

Happy Birthday Olivia and Victoria! I love you and miss you and wish you all the best for many many years!

Thank for stopping by today.

Rachael
