This is a stunningly beautiful stamp set to work with, and if you like water-coloring or using Artist Markers, this is the stamp set you need!

The First Card,

I embossed the stamp set on watercolor paper using the Obsidian black ink and clear embossing powder. The sentiments were also embossed.

Love,

the open petals of the flowers and the broad leaf of the greenery in this set. I created most of the color by mixing shades from the

36 Pan Artists Watercolor set. This helped me achieve the light and dark variations you see.

Next,

I borrowed one of Erum’s techniques and splattered my background with black to add some texture and dimension.

For the finishing touches,

I added some multicolored sequins and used some foam tape for my sentiments.

For The Second Card,

I chose to use the Feathered Lillie’s 3D Embossing Folder.

I used some gradient card stock from the Essential Rock Collection Paper pad and ran it through my die cutting machine. The pressure of the folder created the lighter dimensions on the variant colors of the paper.

I stamped my sentiment with Ruby Red Pigment Ink heat embossed with clear embossing powder and added the same color to the stamins of my flowers using my Artists Alcohol Markers. This gave me a strong monochromatic affect.

Love both cards Rachel. The first one is so colorful and cheerful it puts a smile on my face and I am sure the recipient will feel the same way. Your second card is the perfect CAS example of gradient cardstock used to enhance a bit more a 3D dry embossed image. Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow. I keep getting amazed by the Altenew pan watercolor set. The colors are so vivid I never think that could be watercolor! Love the sunshine yellow and plum/red combo.
