Hey Y’all!

Over the past couple of weeks, I have been cleaning things out and I found this embossed butterfly in my craft stash! I decided to go ahead and finish it. Not sure what I had originally planned for it, but this is what it became!

Watercolor!

If you follow me you know I love to use watercolors. While this was embossed on 80 lb Neenah card stock, I knew I could make the watercolor work if I was careful with the water saturation.

The Background

I created the background by first coloring the whole area, and then going over it with a rough bristle brush to create the dark blue streaks. I then added matching washi tape along the side. The sentiment was embossed using the Colorful Soul
Stamp and Die Set.
