Hey Crafty Friends,
I’m back again with another installment of my water colored cards.
For today’s card Im using another PAF release from December 2020, Tulips.
A Few Details
The first thing to know is I always use watercolor paper for my watercolor projects. This is so important in order to achieve the look and performance you are going for. Often times, as with this card, I emboss my image first. This gives me a lot of functionality, and allows for the watercolor to have “boundaries” when applying. In other words, it helps me stay in the lines!
I created this card using the beautiful colors from the 36 Pan Watercolor Set. I used the Lavender Fields, Deep Iris, and Midnight Violet for these flowers. I used a beautiful peachy color for my accent and background color which I had in my stash! Then I created the splatters with the Sunkissed watercolor pan.
Thank you for stopping by today, and I look forward to the next insatallment!
Rachael
