Hey Crafty Friends,
This is a longer post than I usually create, but I really wanted to show off this beautiful stamp set “Enchanted Roses” by Altenew
I have created 3 projects using this stamp set for you to see the versatility of these beautiful roses.
Let’s Scrap
My first project is a scrapbook layout I created using the “Our Family Paper Pack”. This is a photo taken in our yard last year for our anniversary. Sadly we were stuck at home and not able to go to our favorite steakhouse for dinner 🙂 My husband cooked our steaks instead, and they were terrific!
I am in the process of updating a family scrapbook, and I couldn’t leave this out! I embossed these beautiful roses with Obsidian Black Pigment Ink, (as I did on all my projects today), and then added some hearts and a title. The page itself has enough interest that I di not add too much to it.
Craft Room Bling
For my second project I created a decor piece to add to my craft room. I love yellow roses, and these turned out just as I wanted them using the 36 Pan Watercolor Set.
After my panel dried I mounted into a black shadow box frame.
Inspiration Slimline
My last project is a slimline card. This card was created by stamping the Enchanted Roses using the Memory Misti Stamping platform. This is the larger platform created especially for scrapbook pages. I find it useful for the slimline cards as weel, because there is plenty of romm for the whole card.
As you can see there is a raised panel that measures 7 x 2 on the card front. I created this by stamping both pieces first, removing the panel and then stamping the card base again. Both the card base and panel were embossed using the Obsidian Black Pigment ink, and clear embossing powder. The colors I used here are the dye ink colors of Puffy Heart, Orange Cream, and Frayed Leaf.
The sentiment was alos embossed for the consistancy of the look, and finally a few little gems were added for a touch of bling.
Thanks for your patience today and be sure to leave me some comments and let me know what you’d like to see me create!
