Hey Y’all!
This is week two of the Bloom Crafters Challenge- Crawl, Walk, Run- with Nicole Watt.
This week we did fussy cutting, and paper piecing! Not only are we learning new techniques, but some great tips on how to implement them for our projects.
Pollock Style Backgrounds
Part of what Nicole taught us this week was how to create Jackson Pollock style “paintings” for our cards using ink sprays! Sign up for the challenge and you can learn this too! It is a lot of fun, and the results are amazing! This is the technique we used to create the look on our stamping this week along with the paper piecing and the fussy cutting.
Great Results
Hopefully you’ll agree the results are fantastic! These chucks are so cute, and we used techniques in a way that I personally hadn’t either used or thought of using in this way. A challenge and classes really worth the effort!
