Today I am sharing with you the beautiful Craft-A-Flower-Epiphyllum Layering Dies.
Monthly Craft-A-Flower
Altenew has wonderful monthly releases including the Craft-A-Flower series that creates gorgeous flowers from various die cut pieces. This allows a crafter to build their arrangements in any colors and lots of angles! For this card, I ink blended the colors I wanted to use onto white cardstock and cut my pieces out in the color gradient that I wanted.
As you can see, by ink blending my cardstock I got some nice color variation on my petals and leaves. This just adds a bit of interest to my flower without being heavy handed with the ink.
For the Mega Alphabet Letter ‘I” I ran my cardstock thru the Big Shot using the Basic Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. I heat embossed my sentiment to connect to the Maga Alphabet “I” and mounted everything onto a light purple gingham piece of cardstock for my background.
The joy of these Craft-A-Flower releases is just having fun creating!
